Quick Start #1

Get to know how to login to your website and navigate the admin dashboard including the accommodation and booking menus.

Let’s Get Started!

Your website has been configured with default settings that work automatically and it needs no intervention to take bookings and payments. But it also allows you to change many aspects of how it looks and functions. The following shows you how to start.

Access your dashboard

You can login to your website dashboard through the “Owner Login” in the Footer (located at the bottom of any page).

Enter your Email Address, and your Password. To set your first password, or to reset it, click the “Lost your password” link and follow the instructions on the email.
Your website opens at the admin dashboard with all the items that you need as the Accommodation Manager. The image below shows the most commonly used.

Note: Before you can add new prices (rates), or accommodation types, you need to add a “Season”. A season could be a school holiday, long weekend, or Summer.

Access Bookings

For a full explanation, see our article “Edit Booking Settings”.

See Your Bookings

Note: The checkbox to show bookings made on other platforms is ticked by default. Bookings are imported (synced) automatically.

Booking Rules

The most common booking rules you might want to make are:

  • Minimum stay (ensure a minimum number of nights)
  • Booking buffer (add time for cleaning etc)

To make a booking rule, you must first set when the rule is to apply. For example, if you want a minimum of a 3-night stay over Labour weekend, you must first set the dates. This is done through Accommodation > Seasons

Give your Season a name, for example “Labour Weekend”. Set the start and end dates, and decide if the season should repeat (only if the dates don’t change from one year to the next). Once you’ve finished, don’t forget to “PUBLISH” your changes.
To add a rule, go to Bookings > Booking Rules > Add Rule

Choose the number of nights, the accommodation that it’s for (select ALL for a whole house), select the Season you want it to apply to, and click “Done”.

Calendar sync

When a new booking is made, the calendars on all your platforms (such as Airbnb,
Booking.com, etc) automatically sync to prevent double bookings. Allow approximately 2 hours to ensure syncing is completed. If you want to speed up this process, you can manually sync calendars from the Bookings menu.
